Gunner is the definition of a gentle giant. He came to us as a neglect case, but all this boy wants to do is be near his human. He walks well on a leash and and is very mellow, preferring to curl up inside over intersive activity. He doesn’t really play with toys but he’s interested in his foster family’s dog and plays a little more each day. Despite his large muzzle, he takes treats with such gentleness.

He has been diagnosed with Pannus (chronic superficial keratitis) which is very common in German Shepherds. He will need topical treatment (drops and ointment) for the rest of his life, but with diligent care he will live a full and functioning life without the Pannus worsening.
