Shadow’s foster family says he really is your little shadow. He loves following his people around and he is great with all of the other dogs in their family. He has bursts of energy and likes to run around the yard and play with the other Chihuahua. Shadow is extremely food motivated and has a huge appetite. He can go on short walks and loves being carried around for longer ones. He is very sweet and easy.

Shadow recently had dental work done to remove decayed teeth. He has 1 tooth left! He also has a low grade heart murmer and is on medication to help strengthen his heart, and long term liver supplemenst.

Shadow has been exhibiting signs of dementia – some confusion around the house and unable to always control his bowels while inside (he may be a good candidate for doggie diapers). Shadow gets along really well with dogs and cats, but would do best in a quiet home with someone will be be attentive to his needs.
